2026 Outlook

In March of 2022, the Goleta Sanitary District Board of Directors approved a final map for our transition from at=large elections to district elections. The Board has approved the following map of electoral districts and has established the sequence for elections. This final map meets the criteria for creating district-based elections and will be used in the November 2026 election cycle. Voters in Voting Districts 2 and 3 (as shown below), which have seats up for electon. will be able to vote for a representative who lives in their district. Voting Districts 1, 4, and 5 will next hold elections in November 2028.
